I feel very sorry for those being evacuated from their homes due to flooding. But it is a testament to the climate of the nation when people wait for someone to tell them to evacuate their homes… then blame the government local or federal when they are not told soon enough.
Folks if you see water rising - leave the area. Why do you need someone to tell you that it is in your best interest not to wait until you have to swim to land? This is the middle of the day … look out your window!
Perhaps Natural Selection is a valid theory.
