Glenn Beck has an interesting poll on his site right now. If George W. Bush were running right now against Obama and McCain who would you vote for?
When I took it the results were as follows:
Obama 2.1 %
McCain 18.05 %
Bush 79.85 %
Now, I know that the polls are slightly slanted, not many Obama followers are Glenn Beck listeners, but it does show that McCain has only by default the conservative vote.
